Pain is a common concern among individuals who are considering dental implants and our staff want you to know that while some discomfort is expected, it should not be your primary concern.
As with any major dental procedure, or surgery in general, some discomfort is to be expected during the recovery process since it is a surgery that typically involves inserting a titanium post in your jaw bone that acts like a root of your tooth to support the crown. The procedure itself is not painful since the surgical area will be numb. If you’re anxious about the discomfort during the procedure, we have electrical handpiece that does not make noise or vibrate to avoid noise, we have nice massagng chairs and please ask about our sedation options.
